The Station | Bird feeder for all small birds
With its platform-like perch and sheltering canopy, The Station offers a welcoming stop for small garden birds. Open at the front and backed with transparent acrylic, it gives you a clear view of every peck and flutter while keeping the elements at bay. Finished in a bold red orange tone, it’s a lively addition to posts, fences or walls.
Why you’ll love it
- Clear acrylic back and open-fronted design brings you closer to every flicker and flutter
- Hand-painted in a soft powder-coated warm orange finish that resists the British elements and brings a hint of boldness to your garden
- Designed by RIBA-accredited architects to provide the perfect place for birds to perch and peck
- Handcrafted in the UK from FSC®-certified plywood that’s both tough and kind to the planet

Where it works
Mount The Station in a safe location; at least 3-4 metres away from trees, fences or other structures that predators could use to lurk on the feeder.
Northeast facing is ideal to avoid direct sunlight spoiling food and the birds overheating.
It should sit at a height that’s easy for you to refill and clean, while still giving birds a good view of their surroundings.
A calm, quiet spot will encourage repeat visits.
Why it matters
Birds are vital parts of a balanced garden ecosystem, but finding safe, reliable feeding spots can be a challenge due to habitat loss. The Station welcomes small birds and gives them a place to perch and peck.
Every BrdBx feeder is handcrafted by RAW, a social enterprise supporting people who are rebuilding their lives after facing difficult circumstances. By choosing The Station, you’re offering a safe haven for garden birds while supporting purposeful work and a greener future. It’s a choice that feels good for your garden, your community and the planet.
