FAQs

Where should I put a bat box? - High up (3–5 metres), ideally on a wall or tree that gets some sun, south east facing so it gets some warmth during the day, but away from bright lights.  

Are bats safe around people? - Completely. They avoid humans and are natural insect controllers. 

Will they come? - Bats are creatures of habit, but placing boxes in bat-friendly areas increases your chances.
