Returns policy 

At BRDBX, we believe in design with a purpose. Every bird box is handcrafted by a UK-based social enterprise, supporting people and communities through meaningful work. As a result, no two boxes are exactly the same. You may notice small variations or imperfections—these are not faults, but signs of real human craftsmanship. 

Change of mind 

If you’re a consumer buying from our website, you have the right to cancel your order for any reason within 14 days of receiving it. 

To cancel, please email hello@brdbx.com with your order number and reason for return. You then have a further 14 days to return the item in its original condition. 

Please note: 

Damaged or faulty items 

While our bird boxes are built to last, if your order arrives damaged or defective, we’ll make it right. 

Please contact hello@brdbx.com within 7 days of delivery, including: 

We’ll review your message and let you know the next steps. In most cases, we’ll ask you to return the item to us. Once we’ve received and assessed the box, we’ll confirm whether a refund, repair or replacement is appropriate. 

Please bear in mind: small aesthetic quirks—such as slight scuffs, uneven paintwork or natural wood markings—are part of the character of our products. Each one is made by hand, not machine, and while they meet our quality standards, they won’t look factory-perfect. That’s exactly how we like them. 

Bespoke or custom orders 

Unfortunately, we’re unable to accept returns for custom or made-to-order products unless they arrive faulty.
