BrdBx started with a simple idea: to bring birdsong back to our urban spaces and gardens.  

Handmade using recycled, water-repellent WISA plywood and bird-friendly waterproof paints, our products are designed to withstand the unpredictable British weather with lasting durability.  

Manufacturers  

Designed by architects, with a real focus on improving habitats for wildlife, the BrdBx range was prototyped by a Jersey charity, Acorn Woodshack and is now manufactured to scale by RAW Oxford, a social enterprise with a big heart.  

RAW Oxford make great products while making a difference. Their team is made up of talented people who have overcome difficult life challenges. From crafting furniture for top hotels and shops to making our BrdBx range, they do it all using recycled wood and sustainable materials.  

But RAW Oxford’s social impact doesn’t stop there. They run RAW Educate, giving young people an alternative path to learning with hands-on education, and RAW Support, partnering with Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) to help young people with mental health issues through mentorship and activities.
