BrdBx at RHS Bridgewater: Our Habitat Trail Adventure

Habitat Trail Giveaway: Winners and Wonderful News

This summer we were delighted to partner with RHS Bridgewater to bring the BrdBx Habitat Trail to life - a joyful journey through the gardens celebrating creativity, biodiversity and the simple pleasure of giving nature a helping hand.

From July to August, visitors to the trail could spot our bright bird-friendly designs nestled among wildflower meadows, pollinator patches and shady woodland corners. Each BrdBx box was created to show just how easy it can be to provide safe spaces for wildlife—from nesting birds to hedgehogs and insects—whether you have a garden, a balcony or a schoolyard.

The trail proved a real hit with visitors of all ages. We loved hearing from families discovering the boxes for the first time, teachers planning new school habitats and keen gardeners inspired to make their own small changes at home. But the very best part? The trail was so popular that RHS Bridgewater has decided to keep it in place permanently.

To celebrate we ran a special Habitat Trail Giveaway, inviting visitors to share photos and stories from their day. We were blown away by the enthusiasm and creativity on show—from bee-spotting selfies to carefully drawn habitat maps by young explorers.

Congratulations to our winners

Our winners—Chloe Melville, Incredible Edible and a handful of other nature champions—each received RHS Bridgewater tickets and a little BrdBx bundle to help them continue supporting wildlife at home.

We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who took part and to the fantastic team at RHS Bridgewater for their energy, imagination and support throughout the project.

The Habitat Trail reminded us that small acts really do add up. A birdbox here, a pollinator patch there and before long, we have created a whole network of thriving micro-habitats.

Nature is calling, and we are proud to be part of the answer.

Here to Stay

The Habitat Trail was such a success that it is now a permanent feature at RHS Bridgewater, and we are incredibly proud that our BrdBx designs will continue to play a role in inspiring people of all ages to think differently about biodiversity and garden design.

A Big Thank You

From all of us at BrdBx and RHS Bridgewater, thank you to the thousands of visitors who explored, shared and made the trail such a joyful celebration of wildlife. Your enthusiasm, curiosity and creativity turned an idea into something truly lasting.
